Speechless and overjoyed!? We have won!
The high-tech incubator SMINT@Hannover held its first Demo Day at aufhof in Hanover on 24.11.2023, where we and 7 other university-related start-ups were able to present our business models to a panel of experts and a larger audience.
After each presentation, the expert jury consisting of Jonas Lindemann (CEO coapp), Rebecca von Wechmar (Business Angel Network Management VentureVilla Accelerator GmbH) and Isabel Sievers (Investment Manager Investment and Development Bank of Lower Saxony NBank) asked critical questions. At the end the audience was allowed to vote.
At 18:00 the winners were announced: Bacta Implants! The award for the best pitch of the evening went to us for our business plan for personalized, drug-releasing implants. We are overwhelmed and would like to take this opportunity to thank:

The 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗜𝗻𝗸𝘂𝗯𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗦𝗠𝗜𝗡𝗧@𝗛𝗔𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥, Cem David Sunguroğlu, Mira Reuter and Philipp Janotta for organizing this great event. SMINT@Hannover (HTI for Smart Information) aims to accelerate the development of innovative information technologies and to support start-up activities. Bacta Implants itself has been part of the incubator since January 2023 and has been able to drive important spin-off activities through its support.
